Chantel Chizen is a PhD student studying soil science at the University of Saskatchewan with the Applied Pedology research group. Chantel’s research focuses on wetland soil carbon storage in the Prairie Pothole Region. Outside of the field/lab you can find her camping, biking, skiing, or playing board games.
